to our alumni... the deadline for alumni tix has been extended because people have not been turning in their orders for tix/reception.  if no response is received by april 13 for alumni tix, the extra seats will be given up and sold to cast and general public.  if you are an alumni that is still interested, please email nic and jen asap!

Dear Kababayan Alumnus,

On behalf of University of California, Irvine Kababayan, you are cordially
invited to the 23rd annual Pilipino Cultural Night.  Please join us as we
proudly showcase the Philippine culture through skit, music, singing, and
dancing.  This years show will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2002 at 5:30 PM
at the Bren Events Center.

Tickets

A special section of the Bren Events Center has been reserved especially for
Kababayan alumni.  To take advantage of your preferred seating area, we are
selling tickets for $15 each, in which a portion of these sales contributes
to the Kababayan scholarship fund.  However, due to the limited number of
reserved seats, there is a limit of 2 reserved tickets per alumnus.  If you
would like to order tickets, please fill out the attached form and return
with payment as soon as possible to receive ticket priority- as these alumni
tickets are offered on a first come-first served basis. (Please note: once
Alumni tickets are sold out, you will receive priority in reserved seating).
Also, if you would like to reserve more seats for children/relatives, please
indicate it on the form and we will try to make arrangements to accommodate
you.

PCN Donor Program

This year the Pilipino Culture Night experience is enhanced by the creation
of a new program that seeks to foster greater Undergraduate and Alumni
relations. The PCN Donor Program allows Alumnus to donate (as individuals
and/or as groups) to the Culture Night Program in increments greater than
the regular base $15 paid for an alumni ticket. Along with this program you
will be receiving a pamphlet explaining the purpose and benefits of the
program.

Alumni Reception

In addition, we invite you to reunite and reminisce with fellow Kababayan
graduates during a special alumni reception.  There will be Alumni
Association presentations, displayed student artwork, delicious food, and
much more.  The reception will be held in the Stewart Room of the Bren
Events Center at 4:00PM, immediately prior to PCN.

A reply for the reception and ticket reservation is requested by April 1,
2002. However, this deadline has been pushed back for your convenience to
April 13, 2002. If you have any questions, please contact the respective
coordinator below.  Thank you for your continued support in UCI Kababayan,
and we hope to see you at PCN!
